An employer of Insight Global is seeking a Bilingual Patient Financial Services Representative for a contract engagement in the Memphis Metro area. As a Patient Financial Services (PFS) Representative, you will be responsible for explaining the patient's insurance coverage, negotiating favorable payment terms, and securing payment (from patients) for the client's products. This role will also help educate patients on product clinical benefits so that they are well informed about moving forward with the prescribed treatment.
  

  
This individual will:
  
- Reviews the benefits investigation summary with the patient so that each patient understands any out-of-pocket costs associated with the client's products.
  
- Explains the clinical benefits of the client's products and effectively answers question so that the patient feels informed and confident about using the client's products.
  
- Takes payments and negotiates favorable payment terms with patients.
  
- When appropriate, administers the patient assistance program in accordance with company policies and guidelines.
  
- Schedules shipment or delivery of the client's products to the patient.
  
- Supplies forms to patients for completion; ensures timely completion of required forms.
  
- Works with the reimbursement services team to secure any additional information needed from the patient.

1. Actively manage account balances to ensure that we are compliant with Federal and State regulatory requirements and evaluate each account to ensure that each account balance is collected in accordance to contract allowable payment schedule.
  
2. Follow up on claims with the appropriate payer for reimbursement.
  
3. Work directly with various departments to insure the charges are properly credited and / or debited.
  
4. Develop, manage, and maintain various electronic documents used to manage these projects.
  
5. Develop and report status of the trend issues weekly.
  
6. Eagerly accept challenging assignments. Collaborate with other departments, physician offices, and other clinical areas to ensure charges and diagnosis are consistent and that the financial information being used is correct during the billing process.
  
7. Communicate constructively with patients and other Rush departments to achieve mutually positive business and service outcomes.
  
8. Monitor Illinois Healthcare and Family Services (HFS), website for any updates to ensure that our accounts are compliant with Federal and State requirements.
  
9. Work within your team to insure the team has all related job work flows and processes.
  
10. Monitor system enhancements - Develop and communicate constructive feedback/issue solutions for problems as discovered.
