Job Description
Consults and assists internal business partners in identifying opportunities to increase revenues, reduce costs, and leverage key business activities through improved processes and effective application of information technologies consistent with the business and IT strategies.
Job Responsibilities:
* Consistently identifies opportunities for improvement. Uses directed analysis of business processes, understands client needs, and provides practical, cost-effective solutions to improve productivity and/or profitability.
* Understands concepts involved in identifying new areas for improvement that support the business by leveraging technology through efficient and effective use of current applications. Identify best practices to form recommendations and implement solutions to meet changing business needs
* Consistently assumes a lead role in projects and/or work area. Consistently consults in 1 or more system environments.
* Consistently consults on division/business unit or corporate-wide project studies. Consistently consults on application development or selection projects involving systems integration that typically have cross-divisional impact
* Other related duties and responsibilities as required or assigned
Required Skills
* Must work well with all levels of business (warehouse, manufacturing, CSR and management)
* Ability to design business process flows
* Ability to design business requirements and then turn into detail IT programming requirements, related test scripts, work with business to test
* Ability to provide front line support for the business which will include training in IT applications
* Must have detailed knowledge of high volume manufacturing and the IT components required. This includes interfacing this with WMS, forecast planning and sales.
Required Experience
* 5+ Years of both process and manufacturing IT system design and implementation
* Hands-on experience with key manufacturing processes, especially sales and operations planning (S&OP)
* Working knowledge of process control systems and integration with manufacturing systems
* Working knowledge of quality control systems including data capture and presentation of both process and manufacturing data
* Experience with manufactured product life cycle traceability and reporting
* Experience in high volume manufacturing environment
* Experience with multiple networked manufacturing locations
Strongly Desired Experience
* Experience with integrating 3rd party software with standard ERP application
* Complete ERP experience. This would include various Navision, SAP, JDE, ORACLE, etc. configuration components as well as security aspects.
* International business experience
